Texas, Paris : Sumner man killed in crashon Monday, 18th June 2018

Officers with the Paris police department continue the investigation of the crash which occurred at 8:28 a.m. on Monday in the 4000 block of N. Main Street.

“The deceased in the crash has been identified as Travis Upton, 26, of the Sumner area,” said Lt. John Berry, Paris Police Department spokesperson. “Mr. Upton was a passenger in a 2017 Chevrolet pickup being driven by Chance Woodard, 31, of Lamar County. A truck semi-trailer driven by Petru Bobiciov of Ontario, Canada, was in the northbound outside lane of U.S. 271, either stopped or backing, when the pickup came into contact with the left side rear of the semi-trailer. Woodard was flown to a Dallas area hospital from PRMC, but Bobiciov was not injured.”
