Allentown,PA : Truck crashes into Sunset Grille pole in Upper Macungie, starting transformer fire on June, thursday 8th 2017

tractor-trailer crashed into several vehicles and a utility pole Thursday night at to the Sunset Grille in Upper Macungie Township, according to police radio reports.

No one was reported injured, but firefighters radioed that the 9:20 p.m. crash set fire to a transformer on the pole at 6751 Ruppsville Road, near the Schantz Road intersection.

Firefighters rerouted traffic from the scene while they determined how to move the truck safely from the burning pole to make room for a PPL repair crew.
