Midland, MI : A 4-year-old girl died after a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday, October 4, 2017

A 4-year-old girl died after a three-vehicle crash in Isabella County on Wednesday afternoon, the Isabella County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The crash occurred at Winn Road and M-20 in Deerfield Township when one vehicle ran a red light and struck another. Injuries of those involved led to two medical helicopters being sent to the scene and landing at the Deerfield Township Hall. One driver was airlifted for treatment of critical injuries.
The child was ejected from one of the vehicles, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash led to authorities closing the intersection for the response to the crash and crash reconstruction.
