Suwanee County, FL : Man killed in Suwanee County crash at Road 137 in Suwannee County on Sunday, 5th August 2018

A Trenton man was killed early Sunday after his truck struck a utility pole off County Road 137 in Suwannee County, according to an FHP news release.

Justin James Wooddell, 27, was taken by helicopter to UF Health Shands Hospital, where he died.

Troopers are still investigating the crash, which occurred about 1:35 a.m. Sunday when Wooddell was driving a black 2007 Ford F-150 north on County Road 137 near 172nd Street.

Wooddell failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, causing the truck to travel onto the west shoulder. It overturned and struck a utility pole, the release said.
