LEE, NY : Rome woman injured in 2-vehicle crash in Lee on Friday, 31st August 2018
One woman was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Daygan Hughes, 21, of Westernville, was driving his 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck south on Gore Road at about 7:59 a.m. when he went through a stop sign and collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Pamela Babcock, 27, of Rome, who was driving east on Golly Road.
Babcock complained of minor chest pain, deputies said, and was transported to St. Luke’s Campus by AmCare Ambulance. Hughes was not injured.
Officials said Hughes was issued a traffic ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign.
The Lee Center Fire Department, New York State Police and National Grid assisted deputies at the scene.
