Powhatan Point, OH : Small car went left of center and hit the rear of a semi-truck hauling coal on State Route 148 on Wednesday morning September 24th 2014

An accident occurred on State Route 148, a few miles west of Steinersville, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning. A small car went left of center and hit the rear of a semi-truck hauling coal. Both drivers and a passenger in the coal truck were unharmed. The coal truck suffered damage to two rims and tires, while the car was damaged on the driver’s side. Powhatan Police and the Powhatan Fire Department responded to the scene, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Powhatan Police Chief Ben Coblentz said the area where the accident occurred appears to be a problem, as this is the second accident in a week. Source : Captina Creek crash
