Hudson, IA : Two people injured after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 21 south of Waterloo on Monday, August 8, 2016

Two men were transported to a Waterloo hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Iowa Highway 21 south of Waterloo on Monday.

Roger P. Harwood, 63, of Waterloo, and Zackaria J. Weber, 26, of Washburn, were transported by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital following the crash about 3:20 p.m.

The Iowa State Patrol said Harwood was driving an SUV southbound on Highway 21. He was turning east at the intersection of East Washburn Road when he was rear-ended by a semi being driven by Gregory A. Kurth, 56, of Belle Plaine.

The crash remains under investigation.
