Thomasville ,GA : Motorist charged after car-train collision on December, Sunday 10th 2017
The driver of a 2006 Ford Focus escaped injury when the car traveled into the path of a CSX freight train about 8 a.m. Sunday, according to authorities.
The driver, Chad Shaw, 44, told police his car radio was on loud, and he might not have heard the train’s horn, said Thomasville Police Maj. Eric Hampton. The car was pushed about 50 feet along tracks.
Shaw is charged with failure to yield at a railroad crossing.
