A man was critically injured when he reportedly jumped in front of oncoming traffic in south Tulsa.
The 31-year-old man reportedly jumped in front of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was southbound on South Lewis Avenue, police said in a news release.
Witnesses told police the man jumped in front of the vehicle about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of South Lewis Avenue. Emergency responders transported the man to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition, police said.
The Jeep driver and his passenger were not injured during the collision. Police did not cite the Jeep driver.
