SIOUX FALLS, SD : 2 dead following crash at west of Sioux Falls on Thursday, 8th October, 2020

Two people died Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Wall Lake in Minnehaha County, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
The crash occurred at 11:25 a.m. Thursday and occurred 1 mile west of Wall Lake, about 5 miles south of Hartford and about 10 miles west of downtown Sioux Falls. Names of the two people involved are not yet being released pending notification of family members.
A 2016 Dodge Ram pickup, pulling a flatbed trailer with a small tractor on it, was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 42 when it had a front-end collision with a westbound 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. Each vehicle started on fire.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. A 59-year-old male was driving the Dodge Ram pickup while a 24-year-old male was driving the GMC Sierra pickup. Seat belt use by both drivers is under investigation.
