COVINGTON, GA : Atlanta man lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, November, 5th 2017

An Atlanta man lost his life in a single-vehicle accident Sunday evening on U.S. Interstate 20.

According to Sgt. Cortney Morrison of the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, Fred McGranahan, 55, was returning home from a hunting trip to Augusta when his Toyota Sequoyah left the roadway for an unknown reason about 6:30 p.m. near Exit 93 and rolled over.

McGranahan was pronounced dead at the scene.
