ROANOKE COUNTY, VA : 6-mile backup after multi-vehicle crash on I-81 on Friday, 15th December 2023

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports a multi-vehicle crash has occurred on I-81N near mile-marker 139.5 in Roanoke County.The north right shoulder is currently closed, causing a traffic backup of around 6 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
