Milford, MA : Driver killed in I-495 crash on Thursday morning, May 26, 2016

The man killed in an accident on Interstate 495 Thursday morning was Michael Pedroli of Hopkinton, state police said Friday.

Mr. Pedroli was southbound in a 2013 Chrysler 300 on I-495 near Exit 19 at 8:45 a.m. when he veered off the road and careered down a steep median. The sole occupant of the vehicle, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Left lanes of both the north and southbound lanes were closed while rescuers worked.
