Lincoln,IL : Motorcycle crash in Logan County injures two on July, Saturday 29th 2017

A Weldon man was ticketed for driving under the influence after a motorcycle accident Saturday night, Illinois State Police said in a news release.

According to the release, Allen R. Taylor, 52, was traveling eastbound on Illinois 10 near 100 Avenue in rural Logan County at 7:22 p.m. when the failed to negotiate a curve, went down a small embankment and came to rest in an open field.

Taylor and his passenger, Amy L. Taylor, 44, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
