Cocoa ,FL :Seven People injured after Bus collision at State Road 524 on Saturday ,May 2 2015

Investigators said seven people were taken to the hospital Saturday night after a collision at State Road 524 and Cox Road in Cocoa in which a truck pulled out in front of the bus in which they were riding.

Cocoa police said the bus was carrying high school-age youths from a church group in Fort Lauderdale. The bus was carrying more than 30 passengers.

Investigators said five youths and two adults were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They described the injuries as non-life-threatening.

The children who were not hurt were taken to a nearby restaurant, where they waited for a replacement bus. The injured passengers were taken to Wuesthoff Medical Center in Rocklege.

It is unclear if the truck driver will be cited in the crash.
