Los Angeles, CA : 2 killed, 3 injured in a two-vehicle crash on Pacific Coast Highway on Thursday afternoon, January 29, 2015
Los Angeles authorities say two teens were killed and three other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in the Wilmington area.
City News Service reports the crash at an intersection Thursday afternoon involved a Honda carrying four high school students and another car.
Fire Department officials say the driver and the front-seat passenger of the Honda were killed. The rear-seat passengers and the driver of the other car were rushed to a hospital.
Sgt. Shaun Luciano of the Los Angeles School Police Department says all four in the Honda attended nearby Banning High School.
Officer Sara Faden says Los Angeles police are investigating reports that the Honda was involved in street racing at the time of the crash.
