Nashville, AR: Mustang leaves highway and overturns in Howard County, killing three men on Saturday, July 18th 2015
Three men were killed in a one-vehicle accident in Howard County on Saturday night.According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Jose G. Puente, 23, of Ozan was driving a 1997 model Ford Mustang west on U.S. 278 about 8 p.m.The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve near Arkansas 355. The car left the roadway and collided with an embankment and became airborne. It overturned and the top of the car hit several trees before coming to rest on its left side in the south side ditch of U.S. 278.Killed with the driver at the scene were Jesus Puente, 28, also of Ozan, and Blake Harding, 26, of Nashville.The wreck happened about midway between Nashville and Center Point.The weather was clear and the road was dry.Trooper 1st Class Mason A. Glasgow investigated the accident for the Arkansas State Police.
