Milwaukee, WI : 30-year-old woman killed in a single-car crash in Milwaukee on Thursday, November 27, 2014

A 30-year-old woman was killed in a single-car crash in Milwaukee early Thursday, and the 29-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk and causing her death. According to police, the driver was northbound in the 6900 block of N. 91s St. around 2:15 a.m. when his 1998 Chevy Blazer hit the median at West Dallas Street. It left the roadway and struck a metal light pole and two trees before rolling over. The woman was partially ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Police did not release the names of the victim or the driver. The driver faces preliminary charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and operating after revocation, causing a death.
