A Keene resident was injured in a crash on Washington Street Thursday, according to police.
Heidi Halford, 36, of Keene was driving her moped southbound on Washington Street near Dinkbees Convenience Store just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Keene Police Sgt. Thaddeus “T.J.” Derendal. A sedan driving northbound driven by Shawna Cray, 34, of Keene turned left into the Dinkbees parking lot and Halford’s moped struck the vehicle, Derendal said.
Halford was taken to Cheshire Medical Center with an injury to her right leg, according to Derendal. He did not have more information on the severity of the injury. According to Southwest New Hampshire Fire Mutual Aid, none of the parties were transported to the hospital.
Cray was issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way to Halford, Derendal said.
