PIKE COUNTY, MS : Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-55 on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing in Pike County.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the deadly wreck happened around 7:26 a.m. on Wednesday on Interstate 55 at Exit 20.

A 1986 Honda motorcycle, driven by 29-year-old Joseph Lodrigue of Brookhaven, was traveling north on I-55 when it left the road and collided with a cable barrier.

Lodrigue received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
