Meriden, CT : Motorcyclist injured in accident on East Main Street in Meriden on Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2016

East Main Street was closed between Broad and High streets Wednesday afternoon following an accident involving a minivan and motorcycle.

The crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Police said the minivan was pulling out of a parking lot and the motorcycle was traveling east on East Main Street at the time of the collision. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
