A local man was taken to the hospital for non-serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision Saturday, McCracken County Sheriff's deputies said.
At about 1:10 p.m., deputies responded to Lone Oak Road and John E. Robinson Avenue for a collision involving a white 2006 Chevrolet Impala and a silver 2011 Nissan Altima.
Deputies said Ahmad Perry, 25, of Paducah was driving the Impala east on John E. Robinson Avenue when he tried to turn left onto Lone Oak Road.
He failed to yield the right of way to the Altima's driver going southbound, Emily Sutton, 38, of Lexington, deputies said. The two cars collided in Lone Oak Road's southbound lanes, partially blocking traffic.
