A Putnam County school bus ran into the back of a pickup truck as the truck waited to make a left turn, the Florida Highway Patrol reported Tuesday evening.

A dozen students ranging in age from 14 to 17 were on the bus during the 2:08 p.m. accident. One of them was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital with minor injuries. It was unclear if any of the other students on the bus were hurt.
