Fairbanks Avenue was closed in Winter Park after a crash that left a man trapped in a vehicle, according to police. Winter Park firefighters and police arrived on scene to extricate the man from a pickup truck after a car ran a red light and slammed into the truck on Fairbanks Avenue near the Interstate 4 bridge just after 12 p.m. All lanes were closed on Fairbanks while emergency crews worked to cut the roof off the truck and free the man.
