Jefferson County ,WA :38-year-old Esther M. Machado killed after fatal car vs. bicycle accident on Tuesday morning ,August 25th 2015

An investigation continues into a fatal car vs. bicycle accident this morning on Highway 19 just south of Four Corners Road in Jefferson County.
The Washington State Patrol says 38-year-old Esther M. Machado of Tacoma was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, about four and a half miles south of Port Townsend.
Troopers say Machado's bicycle was struck by a black 1999 Ford Expedition driven by 40-year-old Jeremy J. Morris of Port Townsend shortly after 1 this morning.
Reports say the southbound vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck the bicycle on the southbound shoulder of the highway.
Troopers say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved as they continue to investigate the accident.
