The Washington State Patrol says a 62-year-old driver who fell asleep at the wheel caused a Jan. 2 crash that killed two people on a state highway near Marysville.
The Daily Herald of Everett reports (http://is.gd/JFCV45 ) that Trooper Mark Francis said the Lake Stevens man was given a ticket for second-degree negligent driving
and a $550 fine. The patrol found no evidence that alcohol, drugs or other causes were involved.The crash killed 42-year-old Adam Huzar and 38-year-old Agnieszka
Huzar, a couple from Marysville.The Lake Stevens man and his wife were seriously injured. Troopers say his Ford Explorer crossed the center line and collided head-on
with the Huzars' car.
