Henderson,KY : One injured in three-car crash involving police cruiser on February, Tuesday 6th 2018

One person was injured Tuesday in a three-vehicle crash on Airline Road involving a Henderson police cruiser.

The Kentucky State Police, the agency investigating the crash, said the accident occurred when a white Chevrolet truck driven by Henderson resident Matthew Hope was traveling west on Airline Road.

Hope applied the brakes due to a vehicle slowing down in front of him, a news release said. The state police said this is when a 2016 Buick Sedan driven by Henderson resident Tiffany Sloan rear-ended the vehicle Hope was driving.

The abrupt stop in traffic led to a Henderson police cruiser rear-ending Sloan's vehicle, the state police said.

Sloan was transported to Methodist Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, authorities said.
