Minneapolis, KS : Five people injured in a bus crash in Ottawa County on Thursday, February 25, 2016
A bus crash in Ottawa County resulted in injuries to five people from Minneapolis, Kan.
The vehicle was headed westbound on K106 Highway when it entered a ditch and struck the guardrail around 2:40 p.m. Thursday, about a mile east of Minneapolis, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
The driver, Shirley Kuder, 55, of Minneapolis, wasn’t injured. She was wearing a seat belt.
Occupants Taton Smith, 15, Morgan Kelly, 17, Cassidy Johns, 18, Camryn Nace, 18, and Kerrigan Kelly, 16, were all transported to Salina Regional Health Center.
