Glens Falls, NY : Man arrested after fight at vehicle crash scene on Monday August 30, 2016
A Crown Point man faces numerous felony charges after he allegedly attacked a man and his vehicle after a minor car crash Monday night on Creek Road, police said.
State Police said Tucker K. Karson, 23, punched a man, threatened him with a screwdriver, stabbed his pickup truck tires with the screwdriver and kicked it as an 8-year-old sat inside.
Karson was upset that the other driver, Marc J. Austin, 33, of Crown Point, drove a Toyota pickup into the back of a 1989 Jeep that Karson was driving, police said. Both drivers got out and a fight ensued, with Karson causing more than $1,000 damage to the pickup, police said.
Austin suffered minor injuries that required treatment at Moses Ludington Hospital following the 7 p.m. attack.
Karson was charged with felony counts of menacing and criminal mischief, misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and non-criminal harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to State Police.
