WICHITA, KS : 29-year-old man dies in Liberal UTV accident on Thursday, 30th May 2024

One man died after falling out of a moving UTV in Liberal on Wednesday, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The accident happened near Seward County Community College in Liberal.

KHP says the driver of a Polaris UTV was going north on campus when it turned a corner and accelerated. Jacob Still, a 29-year-old from Oklahoma, was in the bed of the UTV when he lost his balance and fell out, according to KHP.

Still was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
