Shelby County, AL : 70-year-old Oneonta man killed in crash on I-65 in Shelby County on Tuesday, 6th August 2024

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - A 70-year-old man died after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Shelby County Tuesday afternoon.

Lowell B. Sibley, of Oneonta, was killed after his vehicle collided with another vehicle near the 239 mile marker around 2:25 p.m. on Aug. 6

The vehicle Sibley was in overturned multiple times after the initial crash.

Authorities say Sibley was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
