A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Alexandria on Thursday afternoon.

At 3 p.m., on Licking Pike, the motorcyclist was traveling south when the individual crossed the center of the road, hitting a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling north, police said.

Police said the motorcyclist died at the scene, with the name being withheld pending notification of the family.
