Longview,TX : Suspect in custody after crash involving DPS patrol units on January, Monday 22nd 2018

One person is in custody after a crash involving state troopers that followed a high-speed chase originating in Gregg County.

A suspect began evading Texas Department of Public Safety patrol units at FM 1252 and CR 3104, according to information released by DPS spokeswoman Jean Dark.

Dark said no injuries had been reported. The name of the person in custody has not been released.

Dark did not say what initiated the pursuit.
