SACRAMENTO, CA : 9-year-old killed in multi-car accident along Highway 50 in Sacramento on Thursday, 20th July 2023

A 9-year-old Elk Grove boy died Thursday night after being ejected from a car on Highway 50 at the 59th Street on-ramp.

According to a California Highway Patrol accident report, it happened after 6:30 p.m. on Highway 50 westbound, west of 59th Street.

CHP says a 52-year-old man was driving a Toyota in the #1 lane while a 19-year-old woman was driving a Mazda in the #2 lane and a 44-year-old man was driving a Honda in the #3 lane.
