Louisville, KY : I-65 N reopens in Jackson County, Indiana following 5 vehicle crash on Wednesday evening, June 24, 2015

Interstate 65 northbound has reopened in Jackson County, Indiana following to a multi-vehicle crash, according to Indiana State Police.

Police said the northbound lanes were shut down at the 41 mile marker Wednesday evening after the crash.

Dispatcher say the accident involved five vehicles -- including two semi-trucks -- and two helicopters were called in to take people to the hospital. There is no word yet on the extent of the injuries or how many people were involved.

Traffic was routed off the Interstate at exit 31 through Austin, Indiana during the closure.
