STAMFORD, CT : Pepper Ridge Road in Stamford reopens after car crashes into utility pole on Saturday, August 5, 2017

Authorities closed Pepper Ridge Road in Stamford for several hours on Saturday after a car struck a utility pole.

According to the Belltown Fire Department, a car struck a utility pole, bringing down that pole and multiple wires.

Authorities closed the road for several hours while crews cleared the scene. Eversource was also on the scene to repair the pole and wires.
