MONTGOMERY COUNTY, KY : Coroner identifies pedestrian hit and killed near Ky park on Thursday, 28th September 2023

Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed in a Montgomery County crash.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened Thursday night on Old Owingsville Road in front of Easy Walker Park.

According to the coroner, the victim has been identified as 76-year-old David Trimmer of Mount Sterling. The coroner says Trimmer lives in the area where he was hit.

Old Owingsville Road was closed between Osborne Rd. and Brentwood Drive while units worked the accident.
