Richmond, VA : Petersburg man died in motorcycle crash on Interstate 95 on Tuesday, 22nd May 2018

State police have identified the person who died in the Interstate 95 crash Tuesday as Keith Gerrard Blount, 57, of Petersburg.

Police said Wednesday that he was operating a 2006 Suzuki GSX 600 motorcycle traveling southbound that struck a 2012 Nissan Altima in the rear, resulting in Blount being thrown from the motorcycle. The crash occurred about 7:30 p.m. in Petersburg on I-95, a mile south of Crater Road.
