Orlando, FL : 47-year-old passenger killed in Orange County crash on Saturday night, February 11, 2017

A 47-year-old male passenger was killed in a vehicle crash Saturday night in Orange County.

The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on SR 520, one mile south of SR 528.

Troopers said a Chevy pickup truck was following behind an SUV pulling a boat on SR 520 when the driver of the truck failed to slow down as it approached the SUV.

The truck collided into the rear of the boat and overturned, according to FHP.

The passenger of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries.

According to the FHP report, the 47-year-old passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the truck and the driver of the SUV, Mario Bishoff, 37, were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
