Manatee County, FL : Man dies in fiery crash on I-75 in Manatee County on Sunday, 1st March, 2020

A young man died in a fiery truck crash on Interstate 75 early Sunday in southern Manatee County, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

According to the FHP, a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Hunter Burns, 22, of Bradenton was heading south on I-75 approaching University Parkway shortly after midnight.

The truck drove off the road onto the outside shoulder, where it struck a guardrail and overturned. While overturning, the truck struck a traffic sign support pole and caught on fire.

Burns was fatally injured. It is not known if he was wearing a seat belt.
