Authorities say a 3-year-old girl has died after she was struck by a golf cart driven by a security guard at a hospital in Aiken. Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton said the child was walking to a parking lot at Aiken Regional Medical Center with her family around 1:30 p.m. Monday when she was struck. She died Tuesday morning. Aiken Public Safety officers are investigation. They say the security guard is cooperating as officers try to figure out how fast the cart was going and other information.
