San Jose, CA : Two people killed and othes injured in a bus crash on Highway 101 in San Jose on Tuesday morning, January 19, 2016
A Greyhound bus crashed along Highway 101 in San Jose, killing at least two people, according to California Highway Patrol officers. Investigation and cleanup could take most of the day.
Several others were injured in the accident, ranging from serious to mild injuries.
The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m., near a connector ramp between northbound Highway 101 and northbound Highway 85, about 6 miles southeast of downtown San Jose. It was raining at the time, but investigators have not said what the cause of the crash might be.
The bus appears to have been the only vehicle involved in the crash, officials added.
CHP officials have closed northbound lanes along Hwy 101.
