Police say one person has died following a crash involving two motorcycles Sunday night in Wethersfield.
According to Connecticut State Police, the crash occurred around 10:26 p.m. on Route 5/15 Northbound north of the offramp from Route 314.
Police say a Suzuki GSX-R750 crashed into a Yamaha YZF-R6 which was lying in the left lane due to a previous crash. The driver of the Suzuki was thrown from his motorcycle and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No further information has been released at this time. The crash is under investigation and any witnesses are asked to contact Trooper Michael Dean at 860-534-1098.
