La Crosse,WI : La Crosse driver identified in fatal I-90 crash on June, Friday 2nd 2017

Authorities have identified a motorist killed Friday when his vehicle veered off Interstate 90 near Exit 3 in La Crosse.

Jacob Thomas Martell, 27, of La Crosse was heading west just after 5:30 a.m. when his 2012 Chevy Camaro left the roadway, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. Martell was thrown from the car, which ended up about 40 yards into the ditch.


Martell was not wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol. There were no other passengers in the car.
