Findlay, OH : Two hurt in Blanchard Street crash on Wednesday, February 15th 2017

Two people were injured in a crash at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Blanchard Street, the Findlay Police Department reported.

Police said Denise Dilsaver, 54, of Findlay, was driving south on North Blanchard Street near Walnut Street, and Robert Gonzalez II, 63, of Findlay, was also driving south, behind Dilsaver’s vehicle. Gonzalez said he swerved to avoid hitting Dilsaver’s vehicle, police said, but collided head-on with a northbound vehicle driven by Jacob Hageman, 19, of Ottawa.

Gonzalez and Hageman were both injured and taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, police said.

Gonzalez was cited for driving left of center, police said.

The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the accident scene.
