A woman seriously hurt in a two-car crash in Springfield last weekend has died.
The woman was at the intersection of Catherine and McKnight Streets on Sunday when another vehicle hit the side of her car.
The woman was extricated from her car and taken to the hospital. Officials say she was having a heart attack when paramedics arrived.
A passenger in the woman's car and the driver of the other car were also hospitalized. They are expected to survive.
Authorities confirmed the woman's death Monday.
Her identity hasn't been released.
The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
