ATTLEBORO, MA : Driver in Attleboro crash hospitalized in fair condition on Monday, 23rd April 2018

The driver of an SUV seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highland Avenue over the weekend remained hospitalized Monday.

Shawn Reynolds, 31, of 177 East St., in North Attleboro, was listed in fair condition at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

He suffered serious injuries to his left arm and a broken left ankle in the crash around 9 p.m. in the area of 288 Highland Ave., according to a police report.

Police say he was ejected from the vehicle.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed Reynolds was traveling toward Cumberland when he crossed over the opposite lane of travel, smashed into the George Family Orthodontist sign at 288 Highland Ave., and spun before hitting a fence.
