Two people were seriously injured early Monday in a collision on Route 12 in Fitzwilliam that left one driver trapped in a vehicle.
Police said Brendon Keyser, 24, of Plainville, Massachusetts, was traveling north on the highway around 4:30 a.m. when he drifted into the opposite lane, crashing into Rene Tardiff, 47, of Fitzwilliam.
Keyser was found trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by first responders. He was taken by helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Tardiff was taken by ambulance to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
The crash is under investigation.
