Allston, MA : Woman killed in elevator accident in Allston at 1140 Commonwealth Ave on Monday, 14th September, 2020

A woman was killed early Monday evening in an elevator accident in an apartment building in Boston, police said.

The victim, who was in her late 30s, was found in the elevator on the first floor of the building at 1140 Commonwealth Ave. in Allston shortly before 5:13 p.m., according to Sgt. John Boyle, a spokesman for the Boston Police Department.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, Boyle told MassLive.
