YORK COUNTY, VA : 1 woman killed, 2 people injured in crash in York County on Wednesday, 20th December 2023

A Williamsburg woman was killed and two more people injured after a two-car crash in York County on Wednesday, Virginia State Police (VSP) confirmed.

According to VSP, it happened around 12:10 p.m. on E. Rochambeau Drive, west of Route 143. Christine Meeske, who was driving an SUV, crashed into another car traveling the same direction. Meeske lost control of her car, and ran into a culvert after driving into a ditch, which caused her car to flip over.
